Our Process

Working with us is easy. We promise.

We have a clear workflow for every project and a turnaround time that is hard to beat. What can we say, we like to check things off of our to-do lists! For most of our basic projects, here's our process:​

  1. CONTACT US. Reach out via email and include your basic needs + vision for the project. We'll send you information that outlines our pricing and the design process specific to your project.

  2. LET’S TALK. We'll discuss the scope and timeframe of your project, including an estimated cost and what we need from you in order to produce our best work. After this initial call, we require a 50% deposit based on the low-end of your estimate in order to get started.

  3. WE GET WORKING. Once we receive your deposit, we start creating! And we keep creating until we have a first draft (or drafts) of your project ready to present to you.

  4. FEEDBACK, EDIT, FEEDBACK, EDIT. We never call something complete until you're over-the-moon, 100% in love with it. Once we have a first draft, we go back and forth as much as needed in order to make your final product absolutely *perfect.*

  5. YOU’RE HAPPY? WE’RE HAPPY. We deliver the final product to you (or if it's a website, we take it live on your domain), and that's that! But not really, because we're always here to update, tweak, edit, and continue to help you develop any project or product that we create.

THE NITTY GRITTY // LOGO DESIGN

  • Logo design projects are billed at an hourly rate and thus, total cost varies per project. Email for rates and a custom estimate.

  • Deposit due before we start the project, balance is due within 7 days of project completion.

  • We'll provide you with the following items upon completion:

    • Logos (vector, high res, transparent background, web, and social media versions)

      • Primary

      • Secondary (if applicable)

      • Alternate Logos (if applicable)

      • Brand Icon

    • Brand Style guide

  • Timing varies, but logos usually take approx. 3-6 weeks to complete.

  • Yes, we love inspiration! Pinterest boards are our favorite way to organize your thoughts but any way you can share your vision is great.

  • We’re always available to create additional logo variations as they’re needed.

  • Typically, logos with hand-drawn elements take longer than digital logos, but it depends on the project.

THE NITTY GRITTY // WEB DESIGN

  • Pricing is structured on a per page rate. We have two tiers of website packages: Basic + Premium. Email for rates.

  • At this time, we only design websites in Squarespace.

  • Deposit due before we start the project, balance is due within 7 days of project completion.

  • Website design packages include the following:

    • Site design + site map

    • Website style guide creation + delivery

    • External links in navigation bar

    • Header, navigation, and footer design

    • Social media buttons

    • One round of edits to your site. Additional rounds of edits will be charged at an hourly rate.

    • Connecting website to your domain

    • Custom email address set-up (if desired)

  • Timing varies, but website design typically takes 4-12 weeks to complete from start date (depending on the scope of the project + client needs).​

  • Note: ongoing tech and design support is available and will be billed at our hourly rate.
